Davis was born on September 18, 1944 in Marion, Ohio and passed away peacefully with his family by his side on August 11, 2020 in Antioch, CA at the age of 75 after a six (6) year long and courageous battle with cancer. Jim moved to California with his parents when he was 13 months old. Jim attended Arroyo High School in San Lorenzo and graduated Class of 1962. Jim worked as a sheet metal worker out of Local 104 for 40 years and then went to work at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory as the sheet metal shop supervisor where he retired after 18 years of service in 2002.
Jim was a life long Bay Area sports fan. He loved watching all three of his children and grand children play in their sporting activities. Jim would travel far and wide to take in a game and cheer on his family. A craftsman at heart, Jim was always building or tinkering on something.
