Troy Scott Ross

TROY SCOTT ROSS, 45, of Antioch, CA, formally of Huntington, WV, passed away on April 29, 2015, after a short illness. Troy had been a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 22 years, currently employed with John Muir Behavioral Health and was extremely proud of his chosen profession.
Troy graduated from high school in South Carolina, served in the US Navy and then graduated from the Licensed Practical Nursing Program at Cabell County Vocational Center in Huntington, WV.
He was proceeded in death by his grandparents and his father, Robert Dale Ross. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Amy Welsh-Ross, his mom, Lynn Hurt, her husband Al, brothers Bobbie (Deborah and Rachel), Jerrod (Alysse and daughter Kate) and step brothers Brandon and Justin. He is also survived by his sister in law, Beth Ann Welsh and his uncle and aunt, Gary and Brenda Ross, and many friends he considered family.
Troy was a unique individual who had the ability to always make us laugh. He will be greatly missed by family and those he called friends. A Celebration of his life will be planned for a later time.
