Steven Dent

Steven E. Dent May 7, 1947-March 23, 2013 Resident of Walnut Creek, CA since 1991 Steven E. Dent, 65, died March 23, 2013 after a valiant battle with cancer. Steve was born in Glasgow, Montana and grew up in Milton-Freewater, OR and Kent, WA. He graduated from Western Washington University in Bellingham in 1969 with a B.A. in Economics. In 1969, Steve began working for Seattle 1st National Bank in Seattle, followed by Bank of America in 1991 for a total of 43 years in the banking industry. His passions were boating, fishing, wood-working, and golf although, his greatest passion were his two treasured grandchildren. Steve is survived by his wife of 42 years, Diana (Amend); his children, Aaron and Alexa; daughter-in-law, Michelle; son-in-law, Ernie; two beloved grandchildren, Ava and Paolo; siblings, Nancy, Ed and Joe; and his parents, Rod and Grace. A Celebration of Life event in honor of Steve will be held in the near future, details yet to be determined. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
