Russell Webster passed away peacefully at home April 28, 2016 surrounded by Becky and Linda, dear friend Mo, and his loving caregivers Amber and
Sherell after a 5 year struggle with Muscular Dystrophy and Alzheimer's

Russell was born in Framingham, MA to Albert and Ruth Webster. He spent his childhood in Holliston, MA where he and his future wife first met. Russell graduated from Babson College in Wellesley, MA in 1965. He joined the Air Force in 1966 stationed at Travis AFB, then served at Takhli Royal AFB in Thailand during the Vietnam War, and completed his 6 years of service at Lawrence Livermore Lab attaining the rank of Captain. Opting to stay in CA and the Bay Area, Russell then began a 30 year career in the Insurance Industry, retiring from Fireman's Fund Insurance Co in 2001 after 20 years.

Russell is survived by his wife of almost 47 years, Linda Webster, his amazing daughter Becky, his awesome grandson Adam Dolberg, his brother Richard Webster, and many dear friends and family members. Russell received wonderful care from the Hospice of the East Bay during the last 7 months. In lieu of flowers, donations to them would be welcome in his memory.
