Otis Briley

Otis Elmer Briley was born on April 6, 1931 and departed this life on May 2, 2013. Otis was born in Clinton, OK and traveled with his family to California in 1941. On November 7, 1957, he married Dolores Saraiva and they spent 55 loving, happy years together. Otis would tell anyone that he had a good life, a good wife, and two wonderful daughters. Otis is preceeded in death by his parents, Bob and Ozie Estes, and his siblings, brother Oden Briley and sister Lola Crandell. Otis is survived by his wife Dolores and daughters, Albie (Jim) Taliani and Jeannie Briley. Otis served in the Army and Army reserve from 1952-1960. He worked at the Fiberboard paper plant for 42 years and retired in 1998. Otis leaves behind a legacy of providing and caring for his family, always ensuring that his ?girls? had everything they needed. Otis was an experienced farmer who loved tractors and welding. Otis biggest contribution is being an influence to many generations that passed through his life. He accepted all as family and loved every one of them like his own children and grandchildren. A celebration of life will be on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at 2:00p.m. at Jubilee Christian Center, 11 Texas St., Antioch, CA.
