Nicholas Charles Minert

Nick Charles Minert, Age 57, of Brentwood, California. Passed away on May 7th 2016.
The funeral services will be held on May 23rd at 11:30 am at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Lafayette Ca. in a private ceremony with family, we will also hold a celebration of life event for friends and family on May 29th on 1:30 pm in Bay point, Ca.
Nick was born in Oakland, Ca. on October 17th, 1959. He grew up in Pleasant Hill, Ca. and graduated from College Park High School.
Nick married his high school sweetheart Laura Jo Minert on November 7, 1987. They were married for 29 years.
Nick worked in Oakland at the family business Cademartori Trucking for 39 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping and loved his Oakland Raider games. Nick was also involved with the National Kidney Foundation.
Nick is survived by wife Laura Minert, Parents Amelia and Jay Minert, Sister and Brother Diane Nevis and Elmo Minert and his Nieces and Nephews Justin, Andrew, Stephen, Amelia and Jason as well as many other family members and friends.

Nick was honored to receive the gift of a kidney/Pancreas transplant 22 years ago and the family truly wishes to thank the family that donated the organs.
