Mary Ellen Grooms

Mary Ellen Grooms age 66 of Concord, Ca formally of Jackson, Ca, passed away February 8, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. Mary spent her final years living in the care of her son Roger. She was a loving devoted mother, Grandmother, sister, Aunt and friend, always putting others before herself. Her family and friends will always be thankful for the gift that was her life. Mary found enjoyment collecting dolls and other items representing the American Indian heritage. Mary especially enjoyed spending time with her son, daughter and two grandchildren. Mary leaves behind her two children Roger Bailey and Tammy Bailey; grandchildren Noah Bailey and Breanna Bailey; siblings Harry Nelson Jr., Lois Nibblett and Thomas Nelson. Services will be Friday, February 20, 2015 at 1:00pm at Crosspointe Community Church in Antioch, CA.
