Marjorie Jean Bright

Marjorie Jean Carr Bright passed away on July 20, 2018 at home in Brentwood, CA after a long battle with breast cancer. She was 74 years old. She was laid to rest on Friday, July 27 at Union Cemetery in Brentwood, CA. Marjorie is survived by her husband Frederick E. Bright of Brentwood, daughters Deborah R. Ranada, Yvonne True, Cynthia R. Armstrong, Katherine J. Sigurdsson and son Frederick A. Bright. She left nine grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Marjorie lived in Tracy, CA for 30 years before moving to Ashland, OR, Rexburg, ID and Seguin, TX before finally coming home to the bay area. She graduated from Southern Oregon College in Ashland, OR and taught grade school for 1 year before moving to the bay area. Professionally she was a mother and grandmother.
