Mackie F. Maddox

Mackie Maddox entered into rest on June 7, 2015 due to complications following his battle with lung cancer. He was 77. Mackie was born July 25, 1937 in Sylacauga, AL to Olive and James Maddox. He is survived by his children, Brenda Johnson of CA and Bradley Maddox of WA, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was an avid golfer and a proud navy veteran. He retired recently from the bar/restaurant industry which he had been part of for the past 50 years. He took great pride in being a loyal and true Alabama fan "Roll Tide". According to his wishes, Mackie was cremated and during a private ceremony his remains will be scattered at sea by his children. A celebration of life will be held in his honor at a later date for family and friends.
