Linda S. Quandt

–

Pleasant Hill, California

Linda S. Quandt passed away June 28, 2017, following a four-year battle
with Cancer. She died peacefully and surrounded by love, with her
husband and son by her side.

Linda was a most caring, kind, wonderful woman who loved life and
dedicated herself to her family and her community. She grew up in
Huntington Beach, NY and traveled all over the World. She spent time
living in Denver and San Francisco as a young adult. After marrying her
husband John, the family lived in Walnut Creek for three years, Toronto,
Canada for four years, Lafayette, CA for six years, and Brussels,
Belgium for six years before settling in Alamo.

Linda had an undeniable charm and spirit and had many friends in the
Alamo/Lafayette community, as well as around the globe. She was a member
of the Round Hill Country Club in Alamo, as well as the local women's
club. She was an accomplished tennis player who loved the challenge of
the game and the camaraderie of her teammates. During her battle with
cancer, she received hundreds of cards, flowers, and other gifts wishing
her well. She read every one and they touched her heart.

Linda is survived by her husband of nearly 40 years, John, her son
Justin, her mother Barbara, and her brother Howie. Linda was a devoted
wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. We are incredibly proud of
her life, and also heartbroken at her loss. Services will be held July
22 at 11:00am at Community Presbyterian Church.
