Leilani Calvert

Leilani Goetze Calvert Oct. 28, 1937 ? April 7, 2013 Born Sandra Leilani Lee Fisher to Guilford and June Fisher in Berkeley, CA and she passed away in Pleasant Hill, CA. Leilani lived at The Chateau at Poet?s Corner in Pleasant Hill, CA. Her beloved husband, Thomas (Les) Calvert, preceded her in death in 2008. Leilani was a loving mother to Christopher Goetze (Kathy), Heather Goetze, Thomas Calvert (Maggie), Nancy Calvert, Toni Calvert and preceded in death by Kelly Calvert. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Bryan and Jason Goetze, Katie and Tommy Calvert, Jamie Ledesma, Sydney, Rose, Ariana, Kenia and Anthony Calvert, along with 3 great grand-children Jaden, Jacie and Jayla Childers. She also leaves behind her loving siblings, Sharon Carpenter (George), Darryl Fisher (Debra) & Candy Crawford. She was preceded in death by her brother Gregory Fisher. Leilani and close friend Helen Dana Havas were responsible for ?The Children?s Home Society of California?: Leilani was involved with ?The League of Architectural Wife?s?. Also proudly working for Kaiser- Oakland, CA: Lawrence Radiation Laboratory- Berkeley, CA: Dental Hygienist- Concord, CA. and finally a stay at home mother. While at home she loved tending her gardens. Leilani enjoyed countless adventures through business travel and vacations. Leilani was very special to all who knew her; friends are blessed with remembering her beautiful smile, her warm personality and her generosity. She had the ability to light up any room just by walking into it. Her naivety, her innocence and her charm will remain in all our heart forever; she will be truly missed. A viewing will be held Friday, April 12, from 10:00-10:45 with a service following at Christ the King Church, 199 Brandon Road, Pleasant Hill, Ca. There will be a reception following the service in the reception hall at Christ the King. There will be a private burial service at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch, CA.
