Pleasant Hill, California
Kenneth Pridham, born on July 30, 1957, in New Jersey, passed away on March 15, 2022, in
Concord, California. He was 64 years old.
He was married to his loving wife Kathleen T. O'Neill for 26 years.
Ken graduated from Nashua High School South with a high school diploma and went on to
serve his country honorably in the United States Air Force. His time in the military reflected his
dedication and sense of duty--qualities that would continue to define him throughout his life.
After his service, Ken made his home in California, where he embraced a unique and vibrant
lifestyle. Working as a driver in San Francisco during the early morning hours, Ken encountered
a side of the city that few ever see. His work placed him at the heart of countless stories--some
surreal, some harrowing--and through it all, he became a quiet guardian for many small
businesses. His presence helped ensure their safety during uncertain hours, and his efforts left
a lasting impact on those who came to rely on him.
Ken loved life and treasured his friendships deeply. He found joy and meaning in the
connections he built over the years. Among those closest to him were Greg and Ginny
Flewelling; Robert and Wendy Gual; Mike and Debbie Slingerland; Jimmy and Debbie Parks;
and Mary York and Phil Ouellete. These friendships were not just passing acquaintances but
enduring bonds that brought warmth and laughter into Ken's life.
He is remembered with love by his sisters Joanne Keefe and Louise Pridham, along with their
children and grandchildren. Ken also held fond memories of his late parents, Mary Louise Pridham
and Oreay Edwin Pridham, as well as his Aunt Laura Stratton and Uncle Roger Pridham.
Ken experienced life with an openness that inspired those around him. His stories--often
unbelievable yet true--reflected a man who lived fully and authentically. May his memory bring
comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire others to live with courage, kindness,
and connection.
