Julie Ann Cozart-Watt's earthy journey has ended and spirital rest has begun. On the evening of July 3rd, with her family by her side, God called on her to join his angels. Julie was born January 25, 1955 in Walnut Creek, Ca. To Bob and Jerilee Cozart. After graduating high school she perused her passion in cosmetology obtaining her license before beginning her job at the County hospital with her mother. After transferring from County to John Muir, Julie spent the next 38 years making a life for herself in California and devoting countless hours to helping others, even though her heart was always in Texas with her family on the farm. Having a very demanding job and 2 children to care for she still found time to volunteer whenever she was needed. From loading backpacks full of necessities for the homeless, to sitting with dying who had no family. A true light unto this world, that will last forever in the hearts of everyone she met.
She is survived by her husband Michael Watt. Daughter's; Jessica Guevarra, her husband Michael, and Jinna Watt who was also her caregiver. Her Mother, Jerilee Bauer and her husband Larry. Her father, Bob Cozart. Grandchildren; Bryan, Shaila and Killian. Sister, Carrie Jackson and her husband Tom. Brother, Robert Cozart and wife Leo.
Julie was deeply loved by everyone who met her and will be deeply missed by all.
Service will be held at St. Michaels and All Angels 2925 Bonifacio St. in Concord on July 30th at 3pm. Any flowers can be delivered to the above address. If flowers aren't your thing, please consider sending a charitable donation in Mums name instead. Our foundations of choice are the Team Gleason No White Flags foundation and the ALS Association.
We give our many thanks to St. Michaels for support and use of the church Mum loved so much, to Vitas Hospice for the continuous love, support and care, John Muir for making sure she got everything she needed, Dawn for always making sure we had someone fighting in our corner, ECV for providing their support and services and Most importantly to the nurses who spent 8 hours a day loving and caring for Mum like she was Family. Debra and Vicky, words cannot express the gratitude and love we have for you both. We couldn't have done it without you!
