Our cherished mother, wife, grandmother, aunt and friend has attained victory over brain cancer and has gone home to be with the Lord. Judy spent her childhood in Saratoga, CA, and moved to Felton, CA, when she was 15. At 16 she went on a great adventure to Finland as an exchange student. She enjoyed music, playing the piano, clarinet, and guitar, and she loved languages and was proficient in Russian and Spanish. Judy was a devoted follower of Christ, and an incredible friend who was always generous, optimistic and joyful. She loved animals, especially dogs and cats. She volunteered her time whenever possible and held a long career as an insurance underwriter. Judy is survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard S. Green. She had great joy as the exuberant, loving mother to Kerry E. (Ted) Morrison of Las Vegas, NV, and Rebecca E. (Robert) Zulim of Soquel, CA. She was the fun-loving Nana to her grandchildren Gavin and Olivia Zulim. Judy was the little sister of Paul S. (Connie) Rumford and will be greatly missed by many other beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her beloved parents Paul A. and Lillian E. (Arntzen) Rumford.
Memorial service will be at Golden Hills Community Church, 2401 Shady Willow Ln, Brentwood CA 94513 on Oct 27 at 1:00 pm. Please wear bright colors to celebrate Judy's life. If desired, donations can be made to your favorite animal charity.
