John Rose

Johnny passed away on Sunday June 5th. It would have been his 80th birthday. He died from a very short illness. Johnny was a long time resident of Concord and owned his own business, John J. Rose Drywall. He is survived by his brother Frank Rose, his sister Sally Roy. Also brother Dennis Rose, sisters Florence Mederos, Marie Staton and brother Frank Milina. His Children, Allison Farren of Concord, Alisa (Ernie) Garcia of Texas and John Jr. (Linda) Rose of Concord. Grandchildren, Mitchell and Adam Farren, Christopher Rose and Nicolas Garcia. Johnny was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Marion, his sister Janice Engblom, brothers Eddie Fagundes and Louis Rose also brother George Milina and sister Mildred Mederos. Johnny was a Korean war Veteran in the United States Navy and a past board member at the Flor Do Oakley Portuguese Hall. Funeral services to be held at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon Ca. on Thursday June 16th at 10am. He will be missed very much by his loving friend Beverly Roemer and her children Carolyn, Eric, Gene, Joel, Chris and Valerie. The family asks that donations in his memory be made to the American Heart Association in lieu of flowers. Dad we will miss very much your dry sense of humor, your smile and your laugh.
