John Davis

John Dee Davis passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 5, 2011 ending a courageous 13 year battle with his disease. John departed this world with a full heart and a quiet mind for he knew he was loved by so many and would now have everlasting life with his creator.

John was born May 27, 1963 in Fresno, CA to the late William and Dorothy Davis. He was a dedicated sports fan and played little league baseball and football. He loved life and was a personality this world has never known. He thrived on laughter and enjoyed most when the people around him were having a good time. He was a devoted and loving father, son, brother, nephew and friend.

Johns memory will be continued by his daughters Tiffany and Amanda Davis of Mesa, AZ and Walnut Creek, sister Crystal Martinez and her husband John Martinez of Martinez, sister Kimberly Braten and her husband Jim Braten of Chico, and Brother Savid Davis of Alameda.

Our father made many friends in his life all of whom filled him with happiness and he lovingly referred to as his ?support system?. Each person had their own unique relationship with our father and we would like to personally thank all of those many friends of his for making everyday of his life worth living. We are forever grateful for the time, respect and most importantly love you showed him. It fills our hearts with joy to know he had all of you. Thank you so much for your kindness and loyalty.

The family would like to thank San Miguel Villa for their care over all these years and all of the wonderful nurses and staff that gave such excellent care for John in his final days at John Muir Medical Center in Concord.
