Jodi Ann Krusemark

–

Pleasant Hill, California

Joell-Ann (Jodi) Krusemark passed away July 21, 2017 due to liver failure and other health complications. She died in her own home surrounded by family and the people closest to her. May she be happy and at peace. Her light will always be shining on all of us.
Joell-Ann Denham (who we all know and love as Jodi) was born February 13, 1963 in Garberville, Ca to Reed and Kay Denham. She was raised in the Humboldt and Mendocino area with her older brothers Michael and Randy. As a child she was a lover of animals and was known to even adopt forest animals such as deer as pets. She blossomed into a beautiful young woman who was smart and athletic. After High School she started her college career and joined a sorority at UC Santa Barbara. She continued her school career and got her Masters at Baylor University where she played on the women's basketball team.
After finishing college she found success as a sales representative for a major hearing-aid manufacturer in Denver. She soon met her former husband Harlan and shortly moved to California where they got married. After having their first daughter Lianne, they moved to Concord, Ca where they had their second daughter Jenna and to raise their family.
Jodi had an infectious personality which was clear when she walked into any room. Her personality, wit, intellect, and charm are what her friends gravitated toward and what made her successful. She enjoyed pleasing others with her skills in the kitchen, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
Over the course of her life Jodi struggled with many personal battles that challenged her and those around her. Through dark times she faced these issues and came out a stronger person. Through hardship she will always be remembered as generous, kind, funny, and beautiful.
We will always love and remember our incredible Mother, sister, lover, and friend.
Please stay tuned for memorial service details.
