Irma Jean Castanos

Irma Castanos passed away on July 4, 2016; she was 65. Irma was born in Martinez, CA to Jose and Isabel Urenda. A life long resident of Brentwood and Oakley, she attended Knightsen School and graduated from L.U.H.S. She married Guillermo Castanos, she had two children; her daughter Dolores Castanos Nelasco and Eugene Urenda. Irma was a homemaker, she also enjoyed playing softball. Irma was also a very giving person, always supporting her family through good times and bad. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by those who knew her. She is survived by her husband Guillermo, her 2 children Dolores and Eugene, her 6 grandchildren Louie, Juan, Eduardo, Evan, Evelyn and Angel, her 7 sisters and brother. She also had several nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. Services will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church on O'Hara Avenue in Oakley on a date yet to be determined.
