Francis John Chilberto

Francis, Frank, Frankie, Franny, Fran, Dad, Papa. The most precious gifts a man can give his family by example are the principals of self-respect and integrity. This Frank did twofold. Realization of the loss of this dignified man does not lessen his family's sorrow. Frank leaves behind his loving wife and best friend of 55 years, Joyce Chilberto nee Johnson (Fresno, 1961); cherished son Michael Chilberto and his family Kim, Joey, Mikey, and Kelly (San Ramon, CA); cherished son Jeffrey Chilberto, daughter-in-law Lucy Chilberto, grandchildren Isobel Chilberto and Spike Francis Chilberto, (Aukland, New Zealand); and faithful sister Phyllis Chilberto Fortino (Hollister, CA).
Standing at heaven's gate to greet Frank were his beloved eldest son, John Francis "Jack" Chilberto (1962-2009), honored father John Emilio "Jack" Chilberto (1905-1982); honored mother Edith Dambrosia Chilberto (1911-1993), and honored sister Christine Chilberto Rimio. (1934-2012).
Frank Chilberto was truly a very successful man. He exemplified the virtues of courtesy, selflessness, devotion, honesty, kindness, and loyalty.
