Donald Klein

Donald E. Klein February 21, 1936 - January 25, 2013 On this 25th day of January we lost our beloved Don. Born to Arnold and Regina Klein in Hillsboro, Oregon and passed away in Concord, California after a brief illness. He is survived by his loving partner, Judi Anderson and his three children, Denise (Brian) Cory, Kathy McCarty and Patrick Klein. He was a loving grandfather of Matt, Tiffany, Jason and Zane. He is also survived by his sister Darlene (Gene) Unser and brother Larry (Georgina) Klein. Also, nieces Deanna Travis, Janelle Schumacker and nephew Carson Klein. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Cindy Klein and niece Cortney Klein. During his life on this earth he was an adventurous sailor, incredible salesman, golfer, raquetball fanatic, self taught chef, expert wine connoisseur, fisherman and self-described "master of nothing" and the funniest man we have ever known. He will be greatly missed by many. There will be a Celebration of Life at Pier 29 in Alameda, Friday, February 1st at 2:00 p.m. The family suggests that memorial contributions in Don's memory be made to the American Lung Association @ www.lung.org.
