Deborah Joy Bernsdorf

Deborah (Debbie) Joy Bernsdorf, 69, of Pittsburg, CA, passed away on August 12th, 2018.

The Celebration of life will be held at 12 pm on August 24th, 2018 at Bethel Baptist Church in Concord, CA.

Debbie was born in Pontiac, Michigan on May 5th, 1949. She grew up with her 3 sisters, Becky, Judy, and Melissa. She graduated from Lincoln High School in San Francisco, CA in 1967.

Debbie married Robert (Bob) Bernsdorf, who passed away in 2015, on October 4th, 1967 in San Francisco. They raised 2 children, Nancy and Dennis, and later had 4 grandchildren, Joey, Katie, Brianna, and Dennis Jr.

Debbie was Worthy Matron of Concord and Ariel Chapter, OES, more than 6 times and was Mother Advisor 3 times for different Rainbow (IORG) Assemblies. She spent most of her life being involved in the Masonic family and spent all her time and efforts to help these organizations.

Debbie was employed as a Safety Specialist, along with a few other jobs in her early years, for the Federal Government for 35 years.

Debbie is preceded in death by her Mother, Leatrice, her Father, John, and her Husband, Bob.

Debbie is survived by her 2 children, 4 grandkids, 3 sisters, 4 nieces, 2 nephews, 1 great niece, and 3 great nephews and many Great Friends.
