Celia Theresa Chavez-Cano

Celia "Sally", age 64 of Brentwood California passed away Sunday January 8th with her family at her side. Sally was born in Lodi, CA on September 25th, 1952 to Ermelinda "Hermie" Rasey and Regino Chavez. She is survived by her children Tony, Adrian and Andrea, her siblings Robert, Rose and Amelia, her children's father Antonio, her mother Hermie, her stepfather William and her grandchildren Franki, Jackson, Julian and Lucas and numerous family members and friends.
Sally worked for the Brentwood Union School District for over 30 years. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies included bible study, hiking, listening to music, shopping and being part the Ya Ya Women's Club.
Sally is remembered best for her smile, laugh, kindness, generosity and enthusiasm for life. She touched the lives of many people and will be greatly missed by all those who loved her. To her family she was truly an angel.
Memorial services will be held at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Brentwood, including a Vigil on January 23rd at 7pm followed by a Mass & Reception on January 25th at 11am.
