Celeste Doolan

Celeste Lynne Doolan, wife of John Doolan and mother to Brandon and Justin Doolan, died at the age of 59 in St. Joseph?s Hospital of Stockton on the morning of Tuesday, December 4, 2012 due to complications from severe pulmonary hypertension and CREST syndrome. She was born on December 14, 1952 in Martinez, Ca. and was a resident of Concord, Ca. for the past 29 years. Celeste graduated from Pittsburg High in 1970 and married John on St. Patrick?s Day in 1973. She enjoyed Pismo beach, RV trips, and walks in the park with John and her dog Dakota. She was a dedicated mother of two; filling roles of playmate, teacher, soccer coach, cub scout leader, Taekwondo partner, and advisor. She was bubbly, jovial, and the life of social gatherings. She was a proud, energetic grandmother to her ?Grand babies?. She is survived by her husband John, her sons Brandon and Justin, her grandchildren Ashlynn and Logan, her mother Maxine Langley, her brothers Michael and Bruce Langley, her sisters Rosemarie Langley, Joanne Langley, Virginia Arellano, Susanna Footitt, and Clarita Shepard. She was predeceased by her father Harold Langley and her brother Charles Langley. Her family is inviting all to memorialize her life on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Lake View room in Heather Farm Park in Walnut Creek. The family is asking all attendants to bring a Christmas tree ornament to hang on a lit tree prior to the service.
