Albert "Al" Guy Hoeser
It is with great sadness that the family of Al Hoeser announce the passing of their beloved father, grandfather, and brother on September 14, 2023. Al was born in 1946, to Walter and Garnett Hoeser and grew up in San Francisco.
He had married the love of his life, Patricia (McKeever) in 1968 and they had one child, Mark. Al worked as a machinist in the shipyard industry until his retirement. He enjoyed working on and showing off his 1931 Model A at car shows, tinkering with home projects, and in his later years, loved spending time with his granddaughter, Megan, who he had adored and is his pride and joy.
He will be lovingly missed and remembered by his son, Mark (Elly); granddaughter, Megan; brother, Walt (Ronnie) Hoeser; nephew, Steve (Ana) Hoeser, as well as numerous relatives and friends whom he had graced their lives with his charming personality and often brought smiles to brighten their days. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years, Patricia; sisters, Vera and Evelyn; and his parents, Walter and Garnett.
At Al's request, a private service will be held for immediate family and close friends. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced.
